Capt. Nick Thorstenson
Captain Nick Thorstenson is the owner and founder of Native Guided Fishing Charters. Captain Nick grew up on Marco Island making the 10,000 islands and the Gulf of Mexico here in Southwest Florida his back yard. His passion for bringing home the catch of the day began back in his youth cruising the back waters in his Boston Whaler skiff exploring every creek and river this region of Florida's back country and coastal fisheries had to offer. Everyday that he was on the water was an adventure furthering his knowledge. He has worked his way through college as a charter captain out of Marco Island and desires to pursue his dream of sharing this beautiful and unique fishing experience with others. Captain Nick has a great respect for the natural local beauty and for the fishing in this area of Florida. He is an active supporter of various conservation organizations that are working to ensure a healthy and sustainable fishery for today's fishing and tomorrows dreams.
Capt. Kyle Neff
Captain Kyle Neff has an unmistaken passion for fishing. Raised on Marco Island, his knowledge of the local water ways, ecology of the area, along with years of local fishing experience is the recipe for a fun fishing expedition. He also has a friendly demeanor and likes having a good time while educating you on local fishing techniques to ensure getting fish in the boat!
Capt. Cooper Nettles
Captain Cooper like the rest of the Native Guided Fishing Charters team is a Florida native. The Marco Island/Goodland area throughout the 10,000 Islands national preserve is his backyard. Between his vast Knowledge of the local waters, fishing techniques, and a relentless passion for fishing, he is a strong member of the team!
